This day in history...September 23rd

Sorry its been a while, no story just straight to the action.


1925 saw the commencement of operations by Lloyd Aero Boliviana. This A310 was taken in Miami quite some time ago.


Just a few years later in 1931 saw the first flight of the first Gibralter Airways. Here is one of the successors around the mid eighties. A GB Airways Viscount.


Fast forward a number of decades and we find Ajet starting operations as Helios. Here are a couple of examples of their 737-400s at Manchester UK.



Unfortunately we finish on a negative with the full loss of Thomas Cook Airlines in the UK alongside Thomas Cook Scandinavia in 2019, although the latter coming back as Sunclass Airlines.
