This day in history...October 18th

Just a trio of events from my photographic annals today. I start back in 1979 with the first flight of the Mad Dog! The MD80.

Just a decade later and a few thousand miles away saw the starting of operations of Air Hong Kong in 1989.

In 2010, and with a nod back to 1979, Viking Airlines (an MD80 operator) ceased operations.
