This day in history...Nov 27

After being rather quiet yesterday, its a bumper day today with one airline getting in on the act twice!


In 1939 BWIA was founded and then exactly one year later started operations.




Jumping forward to 1962 and the roll out of a previous Boeing best seller, the 727. The first marque being the 727-100


30 years later in 1992 there is a slight link to the above with 727 operator Dan Air being merged into BA





Moving into the new millenium, VIM Air received its AOC in 2003


Just 5 years ago saw the arrival of Cobalt of Cyprus. However it was not that long lasting.
