This day in history...Dec 3

Two positive and two negative events today. Chronology dictates we start on the positives!

In 1983 Air Calin started operations.

Unfortunately not in the full livery this A320 was taken at Brisbane Australia.

Next comes the ATR42 which was introduced into service in 1985 by Air Littoral

Seen here in the colourful version of the airlines livery!!

Moving into the noughties now and unfortunately the story turns negative with two airlines failing.

First we have Trans Brasil ceasing operations in 2001

This 737 was a long way from home when it was captured at Shannon ROI

The airline used the 767-200 on its service to Amsterdam

2008 saw an airline closer to home going by the wayside, this time it was BAe 146 operator Flightline
