This day in history...April 23

Todays threesome is from just 8 years in the first decade of the 2000s.

2001 saw the first flight of the Airbus A340-600, which as we all know is becoming an increasingly rare beast now.

In the following year an airline with much smaller equipment unfortunately ceased operations. AirWales operated both the Dornier 228 and the ATR42.


Finally in 2008 Turkish Airlines established Anadolujet who operate 737-800s
