This day in history...April 22

1983 is the starting point for todays journey when Finnair became the first airline to operate a non-stop service from Europe to Japan.



Just a couple of years later PanAm sells its Pacific division to UAL. The deal included all its Pacific routes & the 747SP fleet. Apologies for the Pan Am image.


Another two years and we are in 1985 to witness he founding of Air Engiadina.
